Does anyone know if your ps3 controller needs to be the same color of the system to trade in? My white contoller for my white super slim PS3 broke a while back, and im wondering if i could trade it in with a black controller...

Saw one at my BestBuy today, PS3 was 29.99 and X360 was still 59.99. Decided to pass because it seems like such a lackluster CE.
