After starting up RE5, during the intro movie the video suddenly froze although the audio kept going on my first play. So I just installed the game to the HDD and so far no problems since. I haven't tried any other discs yet, so hopefully its not an issue with the optical drive.

slateman, I must have come in right when you were leaving cause I picked up the last one at the Gaithersburg GS and there was a guy bagging one as I came in. Here's a really pathetic question- how the heck does one open the packaging on this thing?

Went to the Target in Gaithersburg, MD and it rang up $49 :-( Perhaps the price reduction period is over?
