So I hit "No Thanks", and I was offered the trial. When it tried to verify my credit card, it didn't work after numerous attempts. I did it again, and I selected the $1 for a month, and I used the same information, and then it worked. How weird.

I noticed that too, as well as the Start, Home, and Select buttons. I think I'm expecting to hear a click from the four buttons, but they all just depress without feedback. I too noticed the sound isn't as loud as the original 3DS. Wasn't one of the minor flaws of the original 3DS being that...

Same thing. All the signs indicate a game with a 3DS, not 3DS XL. Going to stop by tomorrow, and show him the website KrisMKX posted. Is there a source (aside from the website) somewhere I can show the employees at game that the deal applies to the XL, in store? Or are the online deals...

So maybe a greasemonkey script that will just go to a specific url after x amount of seconds, rather than refreshing the 'current' page?

There is no code. Just make sure, at the top of the ebay page, you see the green tag that says "microsoft cashback" after paying. it will tell you that have to click a button to recieve the cashback. you will then need to sign-in/create the Windows Live ID. I hope my vague description helps...
