Went to my local Walmart this morning and they had a sign at the entrance and the electronics section that said that the $19.99 Brotherhood was an error and it should be ACII marked at that price. They pulled all copies from the shelves as well. =(
All my pre-orders from Gamestop.ca all arrived on the day of release before noon, so I have no problems with shipping.
Pre-order bonuses have been very hit or miss with me. I probably received half of the bonuses for my pre-orders, despite pre-ordering months in advance. Off the top of my head...
Their track record is pretty good, actually. The only time I can recall not receiving my bonus was with Digital Devil Saga 2's soundtrack back in 2005, but lots of EBs and GameStops in both Canada and the United States never got the soundtracks in. Atlus then made a post on their message board...
Glad to see I'm not the only one who can barely fit into the hat. I can still wear it with the strap clamped, but it's a bit uncomfortable. I wasn't planning on wearing it anyway, but it's a nice collector's item.
Unfortunately, not only is the disc region-locked, but the game itself is IP locked to Asia. There's probably some way to get around the IP lock, but it's probably difficult and not worth the trouble (there will probably be a lot of lag).
I don't know anything about a North American release...
I was really excited when I heard this news a couple of days ago. Months back, I was kind of ranting here about Activision's failure to renew their DLC license without informing most of the gaming community about it (only a few news outlets mentioned the limited-time offer). Knowing Activision...
You can try a local GameStop. There are no copies available online, but a few stores in your area might have a copy.

I started using Goozex when they had their last sale in February and I'm loving it so far. I didn't really get into it until they added retro trading back in March. Overall, my experience has been positive but the trading for retro games moves kind of slow for Canadians due to too many members...
I just bought it last week from Amazon for $55 and I thought that was a steal! It's definitely worth it since I was able to get rid of my standard-edition copy of the game without any hassle. I'll probably frame the posters and vinyl record too. :)
This thread convinced me to pick up a Micro. Won an auction for a sealed Famicom. I paid a little more for it than I originally hoped ($90) but I'm sure it's worth it (I can't stand used portable systems).
I was just about to do that later tonight or tomorrow, lol. I actually received my package today (I was originally supposed to get on Tuesday) and it definitely wasn't worth the hassle. I can't fathom how VGP.ca could ship to the wrong address, especially since I've ordered from them in the past...
Funny you mention DHL. I'm actually having an issue with my VGP.ca order that was shipped via DHL. Apparently VGP.ca put the wrong house number on the shipping label (a 5 instead of a 7), which created a lot of issues with DHL. The guy I talked to at DHL's customer service had a really thick...
Very tempting. I bought the first game awhile back for $20 and still haven't opened it. I'm interested in the series, but I can't find the incentive to play the first game (too many games on my backlog). Maybe picking up its sequel will drive me to finally start playing the game.
