Wrong. They work to maintain licenses indefinitely. Gamepass is licensed in set intervals.

I have the Antstream lifetime pass on Xbox. They don't cycle games off life gamepass, they are kept as long they can maintain the license. I'm really enjoying the service so far. The games play a lot better than I expected.
