Found tons of the HDD at 30% off today - first good deals at this Target in almost a year. I'm going to check back on Monday and see if they've dropped any further before biting, but I'll definitely be picking one up...

Non-video game related, but new clearance that I found today - 7'' digital photo frames. They had 8-9 in stock (Lawrence, KS) priced at $42.48 (50%) DPCI: 074 15 2963

There were 2 Boomchair Sharks in stock at Lawrence, KS last night - $27.98 each. They're on the furniture endcap facing the jewelry boat if anyone lurking is from Lawrence and interested.

No, the product will drop as long as it is in the system. The team does not have to physically put a sticker on electronics items for it to ring up at a different price.

Didn't see any in Lawrence, KS yesterday. I'm not a fan of our Best Buy - it never has any clearance titles, or the "clearance" prices are still very high. :cry:

Most Target stores do their electronics clearance / price drops on Mondays. It can vary and some stores are on a different schedule, but by and large the standard is electronics clearance comes through the pricing team on Monday morning.

Didn't see anything new at the Lawrence KS store, although I did get a good laugh at my friend working in electronics trying to explain the difference between CD-R and CD-RW (that were on clearance) to a very clueless guy.

I believe Monday is the day dedicated to price changes in electronics. I would assume that this is a corporate-initiated policy, but possibly YMMV. It can be late depending on if the pricing team falls behind, but they get points docked from the store "scorecard" if they miss/are late on price...

Two drops that I'm interested in that I hadn't seen before (Lawrence, KS Target): NBA Live '08 (Wii): $20.98 The Simpsons Game (Wii): $20.98 A bit too much for either at the current price, but hopefully they'll drop again.

207 is definitely the video games section of the electronic department in the B&M stores.

I'll ask our pricing team next week, but it seems like clearance is set up by district and on a headquarters/national level. If an item is selling poorly in our district, it gets clearanced regardless of how well it performs in our store. However, it seems that there are also some...

Target in Lawrence KS has a couple of the Wii titles left - never saw Tiger '08 or Metroid, but there are a few Madden '08, some cartoon games (all $14.98), and 2-3 RE:UC ($24.98).

THANK YOU! I've been meaning to post this in the thread after reading the past 10+ pages but I figured I was the only one bothered by the typo. Department + Class + Item = DPCI.

Confirmed for Lawrence, KS - 3 racks of Wii games, 2'ish DS, some 360 and PS2 (dunno about PS3).
