I got a 20% off coupon, can I use that on an already placed preorder or would I have to cancel and reset it? Will they let me use it on a preorder at all?

So if my total amount from trade ins is over the price of the pre owned game then I can just use the extra money on whatever?

Is there anyway for me flip my trade ins for a preorder while still getting the extra percentage? I want to get my preorder on defiance taken care of but if i can get it taken care of without spending any cash that would be great.
