Who knows how long the shortages will last. I know it's annoying, I didn't 'need' one yet but the stimulus was ready and Wally was good to me a couple weeks ago. Basically it comes down to who wants it more. If you're good for now that's fine.
Heh, way ahead of ya. I wouldn't devalue my collection with that game. But seriously, discs install faster and let you offload games that aren't being used right now. Plus they look better than a bunch of USB drives.
I mostly agree. Big fan of platformers and the games you mentioned. Going for the plat felt just about right. Sure I'd love a sequel in a year or so but I like when games don't pad on repetitive hours of gameplay and drag down the whole product. Shorter games are good for those with a backlog, ha.
Don't forget the monthly freebies. Last month was Destruction All Stars which I added to the library before, and Maquette this month. Astro is also preinstalled so anyone who nabs a PS5 doesn't truly have 'nothing' to play.
Don't be that guy... People are to blame, not the stores, sites, tools, whatever they use. Our Sears closed so I'm a little surprised they still have a presence.
You're right they aren't obligated to, but as this is new territory I think when word gets out that disc based consoles aren't future proof like cart based ones, Sony would feel a need to fix it as a sign of goodwill that our purchases will not 'expire' after a decade or so. Especially these...
I have to agree, it opened up a lot of cool gameplay ideas and I use mine regularly. Plenty of people decided it's not for them so you may find a deal there. Since nobody knows when v2 is due it could be an unnecessarily long wait.
I buy my games on disc when possible so I'm covered there. From the little bit I see it's a security thing nobody noticed before. Everything I click on asks me to register so I'm not doing that. What a stupid setup for that site.
Oh well, modders have unlocked and preserved most everything else...
So it's a what-if. I've never had an internal clock die. Batteries run out but those can be fixed. I'm not sure we have to worry about no servers soon. Even if games shut down the PS3 uses PSN and I don't see that going away. Still unsure how a clock regulates a piracy check. I've never used...
What thread is this? I knew digital was kinda at risk for the future but considering people used to change the clock for certain trophies I don't see why the clock would affect a game as long as it's on the console.
Being it said 'quick start' I took a peek and it was all hookups and basics like every other setup manual. Didn't see anything about that feature. The full mute I mean, I saw it turns the mic off.
