I've never done xbl points request before. Do I get my code through email?

Hey does anyone know if you're allowed to transfer your points to a new account. I'm going away for college obviously I'll be using a different IP. Should I just spend all my points now or will I be able to transfer? Please help.

I wonder if there will possibly be a metal gear demo for Snake. If so that would be pretty nifty! As big of an MGS fan as I am, I have sadly not played the original MG games...
