Limited Run already had Doom though for switch and PS4. And it included the 3rd game too. From what I remember that game couldn't run without a patch so there was some controversy around that. But still what is the point of this release? For the Xbox and PS5 and without the 3rd game?

I doubt it, I mean they are making cards too. The CE had figures of Kimberly and Luke as well. Luke is on the main cover of the game so it isn't anything new that they were pushing the new characters for the new game.
