I’ve put nearly 60 hours into the Project Stream test and have only explored about 1/4 of the map. I was worried that I wouldn’t finish the game by the time the beta ended, so I’m extremely happy they decided to give us a way to continue our save games after the beta ends.
I personally love it and don't regret one penny of the $60 I spent on it. I've probably dropped at least 30 hours into it so far and I'm only on my third solar system. For me, just the stress-free exploration and discovery is incredibly relaxing to me after a long work day.
But would I...
I bought one for $20 at Dollar General last year. I ended up giving it to my 4yo son almost primarily due to the horrible audio, but also because of the screen. As you know, screens have a viewing angle where the picture looks poor when viewed at extreme angles. Usually if you look at the screen...
As I highly doubt Best Buy just happened to find several thousand copies of this game 4 years later and decided to push them to the stores, I would say this is definitely a reprint.
I am soooo glad this is reprinted. I bought it at launch, beat it, and traded it off for $26. Then years later I decided to play it again only to find it was selling for $60+. Was kicking myself hard for selling it.
Picked it up for $32 after GCU.
The local Target got a restock of Dr Mario. I missed out on him the first time, so I was happy about that. And Best Buy got a flood of Amiibos, including 98 Marths. Even had a couple Splatoon 3-packs.
I had no idea the Retro pack was coming out Friday. Usually I get some kind of alert of its arrival, but this time I didn't even get an email. Considering they only hold preorders for 3 days, that's a little crappy that they don't notify you in any way.
Wow, so after handing out all the tickets to the 40 people in line at TRU, they still had another 30 Bowser Jr's left. And they had 3-5 each of all the other figures released today on the shelf. And then I went to Best Buy and they still had all the figures in stock too. Had a BB gift card so I...
You might be joking around, but if someone actually created that, you know there would be people hauling around all that equipment just to say "I HAVE EVERY VITA PSP PSN PSX MINI AND PS MOBILE GAME ON MY SYSTEM!!!!"
So I got here at 7:30, and there were 2 people in line. I left and came back at 8:10 and there were still 2 people. When I went in June for Jigglypuff, there were 15 people lined up since 4am and 40+ by the time they opened. What's going on?
I thought about leaving town and going to a GameStop 30 minutes away to see if I have better luck, but from the sound of these numbers, I think I'm just going to my GameStop 2 hours early. Hopefully I'll be within the first 20 people in line this time.
Returned my extra Ness to Gamestop today. Then I did some shopping in a store next door to Gamestop. When I came out, I saw a kid probably around 8yo come out of Gamestop literally jumping from the excitement of finally getting a Ness. I felt pretty good too.
