Hmm...La Pucelle doesn't show up in the So Cal ad, and that and the Nor Cal ads are generally pretty similar. Does anyone know if Fry's will match their other stores in different regions? I just bought it yesterday for full price... :(

It's either because A) they forget/don't bother to open the game and look for everything that's supposed to be there like S_G mentioned, or B) they get a shipment from another store or the warehouse that contains games w/o the instructions. Either way though, they're *supposed* to have the game...
I went to Fry's last night to check, but it didn't look like they had any in stock so I'm not sure what the price is. I didn't see it listed in their ad though, so if anyone's seen it there for that price, please post!:)
Generally no, you aren't allowed to swap the game you traded in for for other games (not with promotions anyway). Oh, and polobear, the deal is definitely still going on...I just did it this weekend. Have him call another store to check, or wait til a different employee is there that knows...
As far as I know they don't have any printouts available, but they may let you write down what's excluded. The main exclusion list (assuming they still have one, it's been a few years since I worked there) should be exactly the same at each store since it would come from the main EB...
Trust me, they're far from getting screwed on this or any other trade-in deal. They make so much on the vast majority of their used games that they can easily afford to take a $1 or $2 loss on a game here or there. But again, that's why managers can add games to the list that they feel aren't...
