I finally received my transfer kit. It took an 75 minutes to transfer about 12GB of data from my 20GB to the 120GB from my Elite. After it was done, it said some of the data was corrupt, but the data was deleted off the source drive anyway. Hmmm...I'm gonna have a fit if it messes up any...

I just picked up the SteelBook edition of The Hurt Locker at the Waterford Lakes Best Buy in Orlando, FL. There was only one regular-edition Blu-Ray and two SteelBook editions. So, one of each left! Also, I just recently purchased my PS3 Slim. Does anyone know if it can downsample DTS HD MA...

Yeah, my comment did seem a bit one-sided, but that was my experience over the break. On XBL, you can flag the offenders and it'll avoid joining games with them. Is there a similar system on the PS3?

That's true...but I haven't noticed any annoyances on XBL lately.

Sadly, I use my PS3 as a Blu-Ray player. I do my gaming on my 360. Over Winter vacation, I played Modern Warfare 2 on my sister's PS3...the PSN online experience was horrible. It took forever to find games (during Winter Break? wtf?), players kept dropping out of games, and everyone...

I just picked up an Elite and yeah, the DVD drive is still pretty loud. I'm waiting for my $13.74 migration transfer cable in the mail, so I haven't checked the noise level with games installed on the HD. However, the exhaust fans aren't noticeable, and the heat is much less than my non-HDMI unit.

Yeah, I just saw the Engadget video. It's pretty sexy. I wonder when it'll come out. They need to make a similar controller for the PS3...

Yeah, I can't wait for that controller. However, I don't know about the two programmable buttons between the triggers/bumpers...
