I find it funny (in a sad kind of way) that they actually announced that the 2TB console is going up in price. That thing has been out of stock for a while now. I guess my dream of using MS Rewards to get a console for free is officially out the window due to yearly Rewards redemption limits.

I think MS said that they were discontinuing the 512GB Series S when the newest batch of consoles were announced. Once the inventory sold out, they would stop selling them. Same with the black 1TB S- once it sold out it would be replaced by a white 1TB S. There'd be effectively 3 SKU- white 1TB...
