Has anyone experienced three beeping red lights when shutting down the ps3? I'm not talking about when it overheats, it's just that sometimes when I turn mine off, it'll take awhile and the red light beeps three times fast and shuts off. Is this normal?

Hey guys, I'm having trouble leveling up my assault rifle skill from 2 to 3. Do I just basically use an assault rifle with the assault rifle skill at level 2 and it will eventually go up? Because it's not moving. Also, the skills slot have increased from 4 to 5, right? Thanks in advance.
