i mostly see ps3 games on clearance... i don't have a ps3, but i don't open most of the games i buy anyways, so maybe i should start picking them up too... i'm a pretty hardcore CAG. $15 is about the most i'll pay for a game new (and that's for something i'll want to play).

ghetto aurora walmart (you'll know what one i'm talking about) had eternal sonata and soul caliber 4 both 360 behind the glass marked at $39.99. i finally found a nice old lady to grab them up for me, and they both rang up at $39.99. i told her i left my wallet in the car and left.

Picked up No More Heroes yesterday for 7.48, marked at $14something.

Just don't open them until you play them. Screw gold and silver, hedge against inflation with video games! I've got quite a pile of awesome games I got really cheap. I think I almost like collecting them more than playing them :P Edit: Thanks OP, jumped on this last night.

So why couldn't you buy it cheaper at fry's and instead of trading it in to game stop, sell it on ebay and likely get more back? It's like in-game advertising for forums! Unprecedented!
