There's already five?! I had a similar game plan (my Target opens at 8 AM), and I wasn't planning on heading over til midnight.

Pretty much the same boat. I have a preorder card for the Basic, but I'm hoping to get a Deluxe. I won't mind too much either way, though.

Sound advice! I suppose my biggest concern is that, based on their general lack of knowledge about whether they're getting the system (though of course they are), they may just give it out on a first-come, first-serve basis. I'm what you call paranoid.
