I should have mentioned that I picked up the 50% CEs during the "game days" sale. I haven't been back since, so i'm not aware of their current offering. I do recall they had to manually adjust pricing at checkout. I guess I was just lucky with the timing. What was surprising was the majority of...

They were clearing out collector editions for the titles I was able to grab. I was surprised, given how popular most of these titles are (RE5, Fallout 3, GTA 4, Resistance 2!). Turns out the CEs are apparently discontinued, hence the sweet price..doesn't make much sense to me either..

I can confirm the CE's were indeed 50% off at my local Gamestop. I picked up RE5 CE, Fallout 3 CE, Saint's Row 2 CE, Brother in Arms CE, GTA 4 CE for X360...and Resistance 2 CE for PS3. Helluva haul IMO.
