Well... good for you. When I contacted Amazon that my Sept. 12th order hasn't shipped while others who ordered in 2014 are receiving theirs; They simply said Hyperkin is shipping them July 17th.

It's certainly legal... but for a company as big as Newegg to do that seems a little scummy. While it's annoying that we are still waiting for black Retrons from Amazon; they at least tend to look out for their customers and don't charge more than MSRP for high demand items (in fact much less...

So I have to imagine at this point Hyperkin was not being honest about sending black consoles to Amazon last Thursday (why they would lie about it I have no idea!). It only took 4 days from when they said they shipped the grays to Amazon before people here started getting ship date...

I just noticed that... All of the best games for each system have been taken out. No SNES RPGS, no good Neo Geo; it's basically all the very common games for each system. At a glance the only rare game I saw was Panzer Dragoon Saga. I'd rather have a collection of all good games than the worlds...

Well, I guess I'll check back with this thread in September. Although Sept. is unconfirmed, I can't say I am surprised... this is a company whose main form of customer support is their f'n facebook page!

There is still no update on black consoles? Something seems messed up here. I can wait patiently for mine; but an update from Hyperkin would be appreciated so we at least know if we're talking weeks or months in delay here.
