Only thing I really remember liking about the old Tomb Raider games were the puzzles, which unfortunately is not as present in the newer games. Outside that though I feel the combat, platforming, and essentially everything else surrounding them were very clunky. I remember the 2013 entry being...
The game feels like it has a fraction of the budget of the prior games, which makes sense, since prior games had more substantial publisher backing from EA and MTV. So I don't necessarily fault Harmonix for not having some of these features available at launch, but at the same time, this is...
Interesting how in that wall of text you don't mention at all how these refurbished copies are "incomplete". Also not quite sure how saying I didn't mind the look of the box as my gaming purchases have become more digital is "forcing my POV" anymore than your above reply knocking digital...
Lol, incomplete makes it sounds like you're getting less than the full game. Instead, you're losing out on the manual (I can't imagine most people care about a 1 page sheet with the game controls that gets passed off as being a manual these days) and maybe an ugly refurb logo printed on the...
I'm relatively new to the game, but it seems microtransactions aren't terribly offensive for it. They sell things like 1 hour XP boosters in the store, but from what I understand, you can hit max level fast enough even without it. Other things like more inventory/storage space can come in handy...
I think its hit this price before, but still a great deal nonetheless.
They're also rolling out some pretty big changes for the game later this month.

So Amazon should have this deal through the end of the week since the BB and Target deals are thru the 22nd right? Only reason I ask is I'm out of town and don't want it to arrive before I come back.
Considering this is only the 2nd time in over 4 years that Bioware points have been on some sort of sale, good luck with seeing that.
Also, I don't believe anyone is really arguing this is a "good" deal. If ME2 and ME3 DLC was on Steam you probably easily would see prices similar to the New...
I don't know how accurate this is, but I remember hearing that Atlus is pretty notorious for printing limited quantities of their games, or just enough needed to ship to stores. This presumably is done so they don't have excessive quantities of niche titles sitting in warehouses. Makes me wonder...
I was kicking myself last month for passing on the $30 preorder deal Newegg had a while ago, but looks like we get to save an extra $2 ordering now. :) Thanks OP.
I thought these were pricey just because they were proprietary, but looking at Amazon, looks like the old Memory Stick Pro Duo is $70-$80 for a 32GB as well. On the other hand, a 32GB SD is only $20. Weird how much cheaper those are.
Wow all the Best Buys near me seem cleaned out of XL Bundles. I put an in-store pick up order on Sunday, hope they actually set one aside since I won't be able to get to the store till Friday after Finals are done. Maybe I'll hit up Target first to try and score the GC as well, but won't be...
