No, you should not look into those, you should buy them. Those along with The Killing Joke and Long Halloween are the absolute must read Batman graphic novels. Trust me, you want to read them.

My personal experience is to search for small scratch and dent appliance stores. Most of the stuff they have is still under warranty but received a scratch or two in shipping and is most often greatly discounted.
