Yeah I just came to see if Amazon has plans to get the GW2 prepurchase up soon. ArenaNet actually launched it at 3am EST already on their official site, so I'm hoping you guys have yours up in the next few hours.

Just a warning I bought a refurb from buy.com before. It did NOT have a real MS warranty. When I registered it said warranty expired. It also red ringed in a month. The company didn't have any to replace it with so all I got was my money back. Don't bother, get an arcade if you want cheap 360...

I got the latest arcade model recently and it's both a lot quieter and generally the console feels a lot cooler. The power brick is a little different too. Except you can play MP games which silver can't. Just not 1 vs 100 I guess because MS is being wankers about it. I put in a trial code too and I get the same download problem.

It's almost nothing like Crysis/Far Cry other than they all have a similar engine. Far Cry 2 is more like an MMO world where you grind on missions and to even get to missions you grind your way through enemies. Those other games the action is more scripted and story is more present.

It's a really repetitive game, even if you like shooters. Well if you can finish a GTA game maybe you can finish this, but it has a repetitive mission structure with barely any cutscenes, and a map from hell that's going to pad on lots of time before you get to the missions. I paid $27 at...

You can put a laptop drive in the 360's case. The ones on ebay from Hong Kong all do that and basically sell you a decent fake drive for half the price. One problem though, I don't know if they ever fixed the backwards compatibility problem, so you'd have to DIY and open up and do a bunch of...

Can you play backwards compatible games though? I have a drive right now I think is fake (seller didn't mention that, lame) and it doesn't work with BC. However if you don't want BC they work great with everything else.
