Nah - I'd blame a combination of Towers High prices (18.99 for a CD?!?!) and the rise of digital music...iTunes, illegal downloads, etc. Not that I'm defending Wal Mart....F them ....but I don't consider this a Wal Mart issue.
Hey everyone!
Sears in North Hollywood has em! Victory and Laurel Canyon. I bought mine there tonight...the guy said there were 4 left. I bought it right before closing...so they should still be there in the morning.
Good luck!
Dammit, one of my Targets has about 10 Kya's at $15....I thought Target prices were pretty uniform, but I guess not. I'll be waiting for that sucker to drop to $7.48....grumble.
Rare Hero
Again...have you actually PLAYED IT...for more than 5 minutes even. It's not mindless gameplay...it's full of brilliantly designed gameplay that is refreshing when so many games these days are hyped up but boring.
Plus...it's FIVE BUCKS!! Holy crap....just play it!
Rare Hero
To everyone who's buying Haven just to trade it in.....I would reccomend KEEPING a copy and playing it! I picked up Haven for $7 last year at Target in kind of a "what the hell" moment, and was pleasantly suprised with one of the finest games I've played. Yes, the character designs are kind of...
Aw man, I got cheap ass DISSED. I was down in Long Beach tonite so I decided to check out their Circuit City...for GBA I found a Megaman & Bass and a Spiderman...I thought for sure they'd be cheap ass....FULL PRICE! Weak. I'm so used to $10 suprise scans. Oh well. They had a TON of $10 BG&Es...
Can't...stop....self...from....going back for more cheapassedness!!!!
I went back to pick up a Crazy Taxi 3 and Freaky Flyers for my friend....but I just HAD to get more stuff for myself.
I got Xbox version of Beyond Good & Evil for $20 (I figure if it also drops to $10 any time soon I can...
Hey, I've been playing my cheap ass Freaky Flyers...it's actually pretty good. Super smooth framerate, weird characters, interesting level design with lots of mini-goals and unlockables. The gameplay is a combination of shooter and racer. Only complaint is that there's so much stuff going on...
Cheap ass Circuit City is like CRACK!!!! I went back for a $5 Freaky Flyers since I passed it up at $10. I almost got Mad Maestro for $5...but I had it and sold it already....so even for $5 I'll never play it. Woodland Hills CA CC has a TON of Quantum Redshift's, which I believe someone said...
To those who find a Rez at your CC and are wavering about it...GET IT. Rez is an amazing experience combining old school vector elements with modern art and polygons. Anyone who says "eh, it's just a short rail shooter" just doesn't get it. Did anyone complain that Pac-Man had one maze!? Did...
I didn't notice that much good stuff at the Van Nuys CC last week. I got the last Jet Grind Radio GBA....I did see a Phantasy Star Collection GBA and a Wave Race GC there that I left on the shelf. Other than that, I don't remember seeing anything that good
Rare Hero
Rapsodist....I didn't even go to Woodland Hills CC until a few days into the 50% off / $20-off-3 sale, and I got a ton of what I wanted. Granted there are a few GBA games they didn't have that I would have liked to have gotten...but on the whole, I made out pretty well. And there were plenty...
Hey look at all these Valley cheap asses! Woodland Hills Circuit City has been rocking my socks. I got Burnout 2, Frequency, and Crazy Taxi 3 for super cheap PLUS $20 off (even though they weren't supposed to) ...then I went back and got Rock n Roll Racing GBA for $10 and Rayman 3 GBA for...
I went to my Circuit City tonite, and brought up a bunch of games to price check, out of curiosity. The chick said that if I buy 3, there's an extra $20 off....I'm like "even if they ring up for less than $20?". She says "well let's see" So she scans Burnout 2 (XBOX) for $24.99, Frequency...
