yeah, when i get to the point that i can have those top-tier cards, i'll just upgrade my chase limit and discover has been decent (with fraud protection especially). Regardless though, I think cap one is the only 'big bank' i trust in the slightest bit anymore.

I'd be glad to help with some advice, however most is obviously common sense.  Kind of in a hole now with a few store cards and not-too-high limit credit cards, but still far better a credit report than a year ago.  Expunge all bad credit with good credit, Try to keep the cards at around 15%...

The store card isn't so bad.  I've been rebuilding my credit for a couple years and got the Amazon card when my Fico was around 550.  Started with a cool $800 limit, and yes you can charge your prime memberships to the card...
