After the first crystal you did get some jobs (Mages, warrior...) and IMHO if you level up like any rpg'er should then you should have no problem, just remeber use blizard bassed magic...

What is your party? I used B-Mage W-Mage R-Mage and the fighter class (its either knight or somthing eles...) and I had no problem, use high level blizard spells and it is easy...

After you get through the dwarf caves (after the tower) you get the 2ed set of jobs... The dwarf cave is through the wirlpool
