The membership card gives you 20% off on your birthday. Can you just give them any date or does FYE verify it with your driver's license? Also, does it automatically renew your membership each year if you don't cancel? Actually, it already lists the member price as $449.99 on the product page.

If you have a chase credit card, you can use Rewards Plus to get 5% rewards at CC. It basically counteracts the tax.

I just signed up for a Citi Professional Card with free $150 rewards in anticipation of the MGS bundle.
