They'll probably omit anything already on the Nintendo Switch Online service. I wouldn't be surprised if they release Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD individually again for $60 each.
I'm also wondering if Mario 3D All-Stars will go even lower at retail before they're gone.
Any chance there will be more eShop sales on Black Friday or is this it? Would rather use my eShop credit on Super Mario Maker 2 before buying digitally at Best Buy
Was hoping to get the bundle for Mario Maker 2 + NSO membership on the eShop but apparently that's no longer a thing except physical. Would've been good at $49.99.
As someone who only backed like 6-8 games, gonna have to agree.
For the record, I'm glad everyone can access all the DLC. I am not glad that I paid more than the retail cost and I get less for my trouble.
Lesson learned, though. No more crowdfunding for me.
I thought it would drop faster because of less universal acclaim than some other first party games like God of War, but it still seems to be selling well. I'd just hate to just buy this week only for it to go on sale next week. I also prefer digital but I assume that'd take longer.
Will it be 40 games that were actually released on the original hardware, or is that number going to include unlicensed games like on previous Genesis consoles?
That Cave Story + price. Twice the launch price of the Steam version that came out over 6 years ago with no new content or graphics. If you need it portable, at least the 3DS version has stereoscopic 3D at $10.
I mean I get that it's probably for price parity with the physical version, but still.
The 2017 Deluxe Edition bundle is basically the same as what Arcade Edition will be in terms of included DLC. It's just the base game + character passes for seasons 1 and 2. The main difference is the AE will include the patch with the new modes off the bat, but everyone gets that patch for free...
