The buzz I've heard during the last year or so of gaming outlet turmoil is that guides are about the only thing that currently makes money because of changes in the search algorithms on top of the graduual shift that most users have made to YouTube, streamers, and podcasts for their gaming...

Bad day for gaming outlets too. Giant Bomb was told stop livestreaming (95% of their current output) and is shifting to be a guide focused website, something they currently don't do at all. Polygon was just sold and had much of their staff laid off.

At least Battlefront 3 is releasing for free tomorrow.

Yet, there is no way they aren't at least matching $80 games. Maybe the controllers hold because they were already more expensive, but I doubt it.

Borderlands 4 moving up 11 days to September 12th. I feel like this is relation to GTA6 since they're both 2K. Probably good for Marathon, releasing the same day as Borderlands seemed like a bad idea.

The Evil Dead game was delisted on Playstation and Epic Store without warning in the last day or so. I don't know if this game is good or has offline modes, it's a Dead By Daylight clone. Xbox is still up and on sale for $10...
