With the trade one PS4 game in, get a new one for 29.99, would this work towards, say, Rayman Legends, which is on sale for 39.99 new tomorrow. In this case, would the game drop to only 9.99?

If I am buying, say, Assassin's Creed IV and am trading in games, could I pick up a $2 pre-owned game and get the 50% extra and apply that credit towards ACIV?
