Any body read any really good books lately?

This thread is a slow burn, but I will post a couple books through time that I have liked: Lord of the Rings Trilogy with The Hobbit - Tolkein Catch 22 - Heller 1984 - Orwell Foucault's Pendulum - Umberto Eco Hyperion - Dan Simmons 11/23/63 - Stephen King Rendezvous With Rama - Arthur C...

    Gaming / TV chair

I'm looking for a better than crap chair. I would like movable arms, breathable (mesh?), footrest, reclining to flat, big and tall friendly. Most of the ones I see are on paid lists or videos.

Karl Malone is pathetic piece of crap.

You must have a protocol droid if you understood anything that was said there.

    Happy CAGoween!

I just wanted to say Happy Halloween to everyone. I'm slowly trying to get back into gaming, but I need to block out an hour so so a day. Perhaps this fascinating post will help resuscitate the L&OT messages.

    where my og cags at?

I remember CC clearance. I also remember the Gamestop or whatever it was early morning online release of used games. I got a ton of Gameboy games and some PS RPG games. I also remember a lot of great posts in this thread or threads like it. Things about poop, glitter, and everything in between...

    Old School CAGs

I still pop in to see what's what from time to time. Maybe we should start a game of the month club. It would probably be tricky what with all the different systems and all.

I used one of these. Thanks.

    The Howard Stern Thread

Being from Chicago, I believe HS was on our airwaves briefly in the 1990's, and I didn't find him funny. We had our own "shock jocks" that I also didn't find very funny, although sometimes. I would only be sad if he was gone for the reason that so many of the terrestrial radio people I used to...

$19k+ Raised! - CAG Charity Raffle 2017 to Support Puerto Rico Storm Relief! - Winners Posted!

I have donated a lot, because CAG has been good to me lo these many years. Also, I want to win something. And also, my measly dollars will hopefully make someone else's life livable for a few days. If everyone here gave $2, it would mean a lot.

$19k+ Raised! - CAG Charity Raffle 2017 to Support Puerto Rico Storm Relief! - Winners Posted!

I haven't donated anything to any of this year's disasters, so I figured now or never. Especially since our Commander seemed to treat the Puerto Ricans as an afterthought or a joke, for some reason.

Comic Book Discussion Thread (Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, Top Cow, IDW, Indy, etc)

I bought a ton of stuff during a recent sale, Punisher included (I was a fan way back when). I am waiting for Locke and Key to go on sale again so I can get collections 3+. Any sale at Amazon/Comixology will have a lot of good deals. The last sale, I basically looked at the collections, and then...

What are you listening to? (Music Discussion Thread)

Sorry it took me so long to see this. Fantastic picture, and fantastic album. "He'll make you wish that you didn't exist, 'cause Sergeant D is coming, and you're on his list." A classic lineup that I'll probably never see.

Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens-SPOILERS INSIDE

Yeah, the trailers were all pretty good (as I would hope most trailers would be), but the Zootopia Sloth one was a surprisingly funny slow-burn bit from a kid's movie.
