No my order history shows a $20 credit and I got an email. They send GC if they can't honor the PM but still want to offer the credit. They actually mailed me a $15 GC once because of it.

Just to update per the rules, the email says you can pass the code along to a friend if you don't want to use it. Some people are even getting multi-use codes, good for you and four others.
