I enjoyed 2016 for what it was, a lot of running, shooting and jumping. Once it clicked that the secret was to never stop moving (versus other FPS games with a lot of aiming/sniping) I had fun. I'm not saying you didn't realize that, just what my experience was.
With that, I strongly disliked...
Good news then: You don't need to care about an optional item for an optional aspect you don't like anyway in an RPG game ;)
Yeah, the issue is that DD2 doesn't allow for the "start a new one" option. Once you've launched the game and made a character, you're locked in forever. It's a...
Eh, that's like saying Dragon Age Origins is a trash pay-to-win because it also had paid DLC that let you give super-gifts for romance points. Arguably, that's worse since DD2's romance is supposedly pretty take-or-leave side material anyway.
Up to you but DD1 was a great game (IMO). Seems...
Unless they removed it, there's a free stand alone character model editor you can play with. Granted it's 63GB which will be a deal breaker for some people but I have ample drive space and bandwidth so it was no big deal.
This isn't a defense of the dumb save thing, mind you.
I don't recall if DD1 prevented you from just saying "Scrap it, we're starting over" but it felt like a bizarre choice last night when I wanted to tweak my model and realized I couldn't take it from the top. A single save file is fine but I don't see the logic in not letting you replace that...
People went crazy praising how great OWB was, when it was five minutes of amusing prologue followed by hours of tedious bot killing. My first time, my character had no skill in energy weapons and it was awful. The second time, I had a high melee skill and went right to a guy with a laser axe...
If you start at the last page, he has quite a few reactions awarded in more popular games like Forza. I can't help but think there's got to be better ways to get Steam points than copy-pasting the same thing 2,230 times though.
Not bothering to break down stores or which were gifts, all Steam games collected since mid-December:
Christmas Massacre
Dave the Diver
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Wildermyth
En Garde!
All the Solasta DLC
Citizen Sleeper
Minecraft Dungeons: Ultimate Edition
Street Fighter 6
Plus a few cheapie...
It's almost as though using virtual stickers to bribe disinterested parties to mash buttons for the games they sorta recognize isn't the best way to distribute game design accolades.
Got my LE OLED Deck in the other day and it looks awesome. Seen some dead pixel reports but ran a test and it's all good. Tested it with a glossy protector but the etched looks just as good in most conditions and I appreciate the lack of glare and reflections more than the sometimes deeper...
It was "worth it" in that it's a comfortable chair made for a 'big' person (6'1" 210lbs) that supports my back from ass to head and that has held up to a couple of years of constant use without any sort of failure. Every $100-$150 chair I've owned has started having issues within a year with...
