I've ordered once (Demon's Souls, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Madden '08) and the discs were fine. Came with real cases and manuals, but the Killzone 2 manual had scribbles all over it. That's pretty bad of them to send out non-working and even cracked discs, but if they're willing to exchange them...

That's an awesome deal. The LEDs are supposed to maintain their brightness for much, much longer than current plasmas and LCDs. Look at it as a long-term investment to tide you over those long, lonely grad school days...

Hi jful, I recently bought a Panasonic 42" of a different model and have been satisfied with it. I also learned a little. By default, it was set on Game mode (aka "torch" mode) where everything is extremely bright, and I was playing Demon's Souls for hours at a time. I doubt this is an issue...

The HWV I frequent had a sale going on ($5 each for all games priced 15 and under), and I noticed the 13 copies of Pipe Mania that I flipped sitting out in the PS2 section. Five dollars each. I could have easily raped the system again. I think they'd get wise to it pretty quickly, but it's fun...
