SERO - The formerly best cell phone plan (still good deal if you want a Blackberry).

So I think it is safe to say that the $30 deal is dead. My question is regarding the "grandfather clause". Does Sprint honor the $30/month until I'm 70 years old and die of a heart attack, or do we only get $30/month until my current contract finishes in 2010?

SERO - The formerly best cell phone plan (still good deal if you want a Blackberry).

SERO plan rules state that no corporate or student discounts can be applied. However a little persistance with ecare goes a long way. My university has a discount program with sprint for 20% off your bill. Instead of giving me 20% off a $30 bill ($6 x 24 mos = $144 in savings), they offered...

I just switched to SERO from AT&T the last day of May. Everything bad you have heard about Sprint Customer Service is true, but I guess you get what you pay for. Anyways here was my experience if you are interested: None of the coupon codes worked during checkout, but I emailed Ecare after...

I tried using my friend's # as a referral, and everything seemed to go OK. However using the referral status page, it says that my number isn't associated with a referral. Did you have any troubles with that?

SERO - The formerly best cell phone plan (still good deal if you want a Blackberry).

I talked to a guy at the local Sprint Store, and HE SAID that it is possible to use a BB without the BB data pack. However, you have to manually add an Opera browser to surf the net, manually add gmail for email, and manually add googlemaps. He said that installing and manipulating these...

SERO - The formerly best cell phone plan (still good deal if you want a Blackberry).

The Instinct looks sweet as hell. If I buy it though, I'm sure the screen would be covered in beer and wing sauce within a month. I like the Q too but the hump in the back of the phone makes it fit awkwardly into my pockets. I think you can actually get the Blackberries without the data plan...

How come Sprint forces you get a Blackberry data package for $30/mo if you want to buy a Blackberry? You already have free net with the SERO plan. Can you just cancel the Blackberry data package after one month? I would love to sign up for the SERO plan if I could just get the BB Curve...
