This is closer to MW2 (piece of shit) than BC2 (a damn good game).
With DICE attached, I actually felt confident in this multiplayer beta. It's a piece of shit. With Frostbite out of the picture, you just have a static map with fast twitch-based gameplay that grows stale on anyone that doesn't...
why do people hate SecureROM?
I would put myself into the average PC gamer shoes (2 computers, rare relocation. always-on broadband connection). I have nearly all my games attached to SecureROM and never run into any issues.
Assassin's Creed 2's DRM was the only DRM that ever gave me problems...

I have an Xbox360 controller setup with my PC, if the gripes are with the keyboard inputs.
The game looks beautiful in the trailers.
The single player is just as goon as the sequel (and the storyline is actually believable and makes sense). The multiplayer is just as garbage as MW2. Dedicated servers or not, the actual game sucks in multiplayer (especially if you've had the experience to spoil yourself silly on the incredible...
I'm led to believe cheap video games should be the least of Elliot's priorities if $1 and $5 present both a financial (and more pathetically, a moral) dilemma.
On note of GTAIV, I have Windows 7 64-bit and can confirm that the D2D version works.
I had it for 360 at launch and had a blast. How populated is the PC version on a 24 hour cycle (I play most of my games around midnight in the USA)?
also, is there a PC oriented interface or is the inventory managed the same way as the console (ie, incredibly horrible)?
I watched several reviews on youtube and made the purchase using the OPs code. Can't go wrong with $5. Hopefully, the consistent issue brought up in all the reviews (reliable netcode) has been fixed.
Cheers!
