Hey Guys, I'm not sure if it's been discussed but I've read this and confirmed that the steam key itself is usable in both Steam and Origin. You just need to go into your steam client and view the cd-key itself.  copy it and use that to redeem in Origin. Then gift your Origin key to your buddy!
