If you are lucky, when they do ring up lower, they won't try to pass off that lower ringup as the discounted 50% already applied.

Like I said it's not the $3.75 amount, it's the principle. They swore up and done that all stickered prices were 100% correct and discounts were being taken off, regardless of whatever rational proof I was pointing out. I'm going back to argue more.
