It's not limited by LRG, it's limited by how many copies the license holders allow LRG to produce. They're not trying to create artisanal games - they're trying to keep the physical game space from disappearing.
Catering to nostalgia via mid-tier digital-only pricing, and horrendous load times for those regions to even receive the portable option.
What could go wrong?
All of the problems I've heard have been with it being uninspired, rather than faulting the mechanics. The worst gripe I've experienced was with the pre-filled map, which is like the opposite of damning with faint praise.
Just so everyone knows, tho its prob obvious, but Amazon was still sending out Odin Sphere artbooks for orders post-launch on Wed. If anyone wants one, it may still be an option.
