Well that first suggestion is essentially exactly what I did. The register would not ring it up proper, so I returned the game and got my cash. Then I went to Wal-Mart and just picked it up there instead.

Yeah, I just tried this with my local Kmart, in Easton, PA, and they claimed it was an online only deal, despite it being in-store. And this was after claiming there was no such deal, to which my wife and I had to make them ring the game and our membership up for them to realize there is indeed...

So far that is, what, 3,200 then. That is a lot of gift cards.
