Surprised Target doesn't have any X1 or PS4 deals listed. Though parents will see the lower priced X1s and PS4 slim and go with those anyways. Hopefully there will be some unadvertised deals for the X1 and PS4 Pro.
This is a smart move by Activision and Sony. I’ve always played COD on Xbox, but the game feels smoother on PS4 (gameplay and controls). I might consider Blacks Ops 4 for PS4 because of this.
Can’t beat plasma (especially Panasonic plasmas). I play more on my 50 inch Panasonic plasma in my office, than on my 75 inch 4K Samsung in family room. The coloring and motion is just so much better.
Not surprising. You can tell Best Buy is changing their strategy. The two in my area have expanded their appliance section, while shrinking their game/movie sections. After my subscription expires next month, I doubt I’ll buy any games (or anything else) from Best Buy for a while. Amazon usually...
Thanks for the feedback and heads up. Even though I prefer digital for the switch, can’t justify spending $10 more for digital version. Think I’ll give the Switch version a try. Usually buy FIFA for PS4, but being able to travel with FIFA is pretty cool.
I received the 75” version as a replacement tv and it was horrible. Though the cheap, non 4K (google LG fake 4K panels) IPS panel used doesn’t do LG any favors. The blacks looked grey and the hdr was basically non-exsistent (the panel couldn’t get bright enough to make use of hdr content)...
Be careful with LG TVs. Some of their cheaper models are what you would call fake 4K (has to do with the panel used). With that’ said, Walmart also has the LG UP870 4K player for $49 in-store. It’s a no thrills 4K player (doesn’t have apps or WiFi) but gets good reviews. I just purchased one...
