Just found out through personal experience that XCX is affected by Miiverse's shutdown. I was loading it on my Nintablet and thought it hung on the load screen. Turns out I just had to press A repeatedly to switch it to handheld.

I decided last minute to grab Xenoblade Chronicles X as my final purchase and was immediately glad I had external storage. It would take up pretty much the entire internal storage. I am spoiled with modern drives measured in terabytes.

Got Ash-Greninja on my copy of both Sun and Moon, and now I wait for Bank to be free so I can transfer them!

Just a reminder that the 3DS Monster Hunter games and many of the Atlus have free DLC. With Atlus games like Persona Q and SMT IV, you have to sift through to find the free ones. Also New Super Mario 2 doesn't unlock DLC access until you beat the first world.

I wish the NSO vouchers included "with DLC" bundles. I would finally have to break down and get FE:3 Houses at that point. Using the first one to pre-order Tears of the Kingdom was a no brainer.
