If this is true, that sucks. I'm already on the fence about pulling the trigger. I liked the demo. I don't care for the all the extra's that this comes with yet it's cheaper than the vanilla game. If the online isn't active though, I guess that decides it for me.

I was trying to pre-order it as well but I didn't see the option for release-date shipping either. Live chat with CS told me it was unavailable because of my address. I've gotten release-date delivery at this address before so I don't know if that's true or not.

Is it still possible to get the AC:B pre-order bonuses from BestBuy (500 RZ bonus points and MP character)? Edit: Nevermind, I see the bonus points were for a pre-order and that has expired but it appears the MP character is a code in the game box. Should have looked more before posting.
