Cashier scanned and inputted the numbers on the coupon any which way and still didn't work. In the end, she manually entered the adjusted price.
if you've worked in a big box kind of sales environment, you'd know that people in HQs are not smart enough to do that... they usually have the theory, but none of the experience with dealing with customers on the sales floor, so they won't know what's best for both the company and the customers...
personally, i think that the different return policy thing is BS too... but hey, i don't handle stuff like that, so i'm not concerned about it... but i have gotten that used on me when i was the customer...
also this means EB is also as bad because last time i asked for a PM, they outright...
ok, since everybody is basically saying i'm bullshitting, let me just say i didn't say i like our policy... and hell, i've personally been on the same side as you guys before... the only time i would shop at FS is if i can get something for cheaper than other places...

FS doesn't price match ncix... one of the reasons we quote is that they have a different return policy...
there are actually a lot of fine prints on FS's (or any big-boxes) price match policy... here are the keys you need to know:

you guys are lucky if you got LO from FS... my store ran out last thursday (someone web pickup'd the last 4 copies) and never got restocked... i can't even get it for myself... i'll just have to make do with my staff-purchased used copy (which is still ~$20)...
all in all, it's definitely one of the better systems i've seen in NA... can't really compare it to higher-populated cities like NY, but it's definitely better than most...
unfortunately, that's not saying a lot for the car-focused NA population... transit is definitely a lot better in asia or...
well, looks like the best way from downtown vancouver is to take the 351, get off at 152nd street farside 24th ave, and walk for about 22 mins... exact directions for the walk:

i've seen the flyer they're going to distribute to all the lower mainland FS... one deal that caught my eyes was that infinite undiscovery is going to be $10, but it's only going to be 10 copies per day fri-sun and it's only going to be at the south surrey store...
