Just got mine from Target. There weren't as many people as I thought, and there were also games-a-plenty available. PS. If you can't get your Deluxe anywhere else, TRY MICRO CENTER (if there is one near you).

Anyone tried seeing if the $50 GC still works in-store today? Might be worth a shot..

Remember Micro Center will carry the Wii U (if you have one near you). They open at 10AM sundays iirc

The cards are scanned on purchase, and I'm assuming that's how they keep track of preorders. The joke's on whoever was foolish enough to steal/hide any cards.

Like he says, you can always have a Target with incompetent staff, but hopefully it'll be smooth sailing for those of us who preordered there (I got a preorder at another Target as well, just in case).

PS. If you can't find a preorder anywhere else, Micro Center appears to also be carrying it on release day.. not sure how many people would think of going there to buy a wii u so could be a good bet for some of you ^^

I picked up a card from 2 different Targets just in case one screws up, but it sounds legit. The 7 day hold is advertised on back of the card, so if they screw up at the very least you can demand a refund (of the $5 card). PS. I still see these preorder cards around (in West Nyack, NY and...

Not central NJ, I know, but Target in Edgewater NJ still had a few of the regulars available earlier today. Also Target in West Nyack, NY still has a few deluxe preorder cards.

It's not a bad game, but there are better ways to spend your money.. (like buying Perfect Dark HD on XBLA for around the same price :p)

I nabbed one this morning at the Yonkers Micro Center. At 10:30 AM they had 7 left (-1 for the one I bought, so 6 now). Looks like they just came back in stock, so if you weren't able to get one yet, don't lose hope. Came out to $119 after taxes.
