lumines and wipeout are tied for first, followed by twisted metal. however, once GT4 and GTA come out, they will most likely be tied for first, or they will be first and second. It's hard to compare lumines, wipeout, GT4, and GTA because they are so different.

well, it seems that luminescent, referring to thepretty lights in the game, would be the closest word to derive lumines from. it even has the same spelling, and pronunciation. (loo-min-ess)

It's not luminous, but luminescent. notice the lumines contained within. and yes, it does have to do with the bright lights and such.

I started to have second thoughts early on, until I played me neighbor's DS and realized it was just the same old boring gameboy. i watched the 2 and a half minute wipeout pure video on IGN and almost wet myself: the graphics are that good. I'm gettin a PSP and Wipeout Pure at launch from EB...

is this really a contest? just look at Ridge Racers for PSP and Ridge Racers for DS. PSP is obviously better. and you have to see Wipeout Pure. It looks better than most PS2 games. It even uses light bloom! i know the screen shots online look pixelated and blurry, but thats because the are...
