I don't disagree and his mention of 2,000 in Oklahoma was obviously an exaggeration, I just don't understand his aversion to pre-ordering considering his stated alternative of driving around 50+ miles looking for one. Some people seem to have this weird notion that pre-orders are evil or bad...

Can't see the logic in this. You'll drive around aimlessly looking for it but won't take 30 seconds and have it shipped directly to you? You won't even get charged until it ships.

Really? I returned no more hostility than I got. And I was surprised at how much hostility that was, given that this started with a suggestion that would have taken someone 5 seconds and *would* help at least some people find what they're looking for faster.

Even so, I just told you that I know of at least one person who found their way to the old topic (maybe Google did the same for them based on prior browsing habits). Why are you guys so intent on bringing up irrelevant reasons to not put a simple helpful message/link into the old thread?
