- Comes out May 20th, 2025.

More details from Steam Page:
Looks like it might be a free upgrade for owners of the existing games.

General questions about the release

When exactly will S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition be available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition will be available May 20, 2025 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on GOG, Epic Games Store, and Steam. All owners of the game will receive a separate edition of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition in their Steam and GOG libraries, which will be available for download immediately. If you do not have the complete collection, you will receive the updated version only for the games you have in your library. If you don't have any classic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games in your library and if you want to buy the games or the collection, you'll get the classic three games for free when you purchase S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition.

It was a bunch of old SMS messages for 2FA. No need to change passwords. Use Steam Guard.

Or don't, I'm not your dad.

I'm not a fan of 2FA for a number of reasons. Steam is one of the few I would use it for but it locks you to a mobile device, which is one of the most vulnerable computing targets out there.

New epic freebies are Dead Island 2 and Happy Game. Dead Island 2 is a pretty great freebie, but probably not good enough to get me to use epic much.. I guess we can look forward to the steam version being in a Humble Choice in the near future.
Yeah Dead Island 2 was definitely a shocker, looks like they are still in the business of burning money.

If only they'd burn that money on making epic a better client. I guess they still don't realize what the people want. Steam is like 20 years ahead of everyone else when it comes to client/software features. You can give away great games, but hardly anyone will use the client if it sucks compared to the competition.

It’s still baffling to me that 6 years in, the store still feels like a glorified geocities page. Like, how do you not even have a “library” section yet!?!? I dunno, whatever, I’ll keep collecting my free games but I’ve yet to spend a single dollar in their store.

Amazon/Ubisoft/EA are all poopy clients. GOG is so-so but still not amazing. Steam is kind of gross at times, but it's the best we have (still doesn't handle huge libraries very well). DRM free is the way to be, but it's hard to track games and that doesn't jive well with achievements, of which I do like in Steam games.

Skip Achievements. I just want my single-player games to work offline.

Achievements are cool and all to see the pop-up - but those should be built directly into the game and also work offline. When it's soft-DRM of sorts for online-servers to actually work properly to get people to play online and for telemetry purposes - yeah, that's when I care much less about Achievements; esp. for any single-player content.

Achievements should be built into the game directly and also for offline purposes - just like they were before Steam-Achievements were a thing. Back when Divinity 2: Ego Draconis/DKS and Hard Reset Redux built them also into the actual offline single-player portion too. More of that, please - Steam, GOG, and all those online suites sadly won't be around forever.

Ive been using Heroic Games Launcher for a few years now instead of their janky client, not sure how good it is on Windows but it works great on Linux. It also works with GOG and Amazon games I believe. It's no where close to steam but its still alot better than epics game client.

Xbox 360 achievements worked offline.

Reply to Bers:
-> Yup, I also use Heroic for most Epic stuff too. Epic's client is "meh" and bloated. At least Steam's bloated, but is loaded w/ features - so that's a lot more tolerable.

Reply to RedvsBlue:
-> I play on PC, never had an X360. So, I'm mostly talking about PC services. But, I'm glad to hear 360 achievements work offline too; that rocks for preservation and Achievement Hunters can do this, if say Microsoft kills these services like they killed G4WL. Is that (with Achievements working offline) also the case for say PS4/5 and/or X1/X Series games, with the Internet-connection purposely turned off?

Yes, I believe ps3-ps5 trophies will work offline but there’s a weird issue tied to them that I can’t exactly remember. I think it’s that the console and the profile have to have connected to the internet at least once, whereas with 360 you could earn achievements with a console that never connected to the internet and a profile only created locally.

With Xbox One and Series you can earn the achievement while not connected to the internet but the achievement won’t pop on the console until it connects to Xbox so in terms of preservation like you mentioned, those are as good as gone some day.

I bought a bundle of Tiny Pasture and Cornerpond. So far I've tried Cornerpond, and love it. These are both idle games that sort of just stay on the bottom or corner of your screen while you do other stuff, like Rusty's Retirement.

Last night I put on Cornerpond just to try it out, I ended up playing it for 4.5 hours straight. With some web browsing and stuff between fish. I'm playing it now. I really love it. It is very simple. I think there's a demo.

Get anything good?
You could post the dupes on the trade form.

I think they were pretty good. A couple of games I had never heard of of but will probably try out.

Bundle #1 - Dishonored 2, This War of Mine: Complete, Call of Juarez, Murky Divers, Deliver Us The moon
Bundle #2 - Morrowind GOTY, The Final Station, Bramble: The Mountain King, Smallan: Survive the wilds, Frogun Encore
Bundle #3 - For the King - Deluxe, Dishonored, Dead Estate, Devilated, Alba: A Wildlife Adventure

I tried my luck too. Already own the ones I wanted, and two are kinda interesting, so I might redeem them. Who knows.

Bundle 1:
Metro 2033 Redux
Devil Daggers
Sticky Business
Human Fall Flat
The Final Station

Bundle 2:
Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition
Mr. Prepper
Rack and Slay
Epistory - Typing Chronicles
Warpips

2. Warhammer 40K: Armageddon and its DLC's are getting pulled from Steam on May 19th:

SIDE NOTE - Both of these games will remain on GOG though.

I haven't played Armageddon, yet, but Sanctus Reach is the closest game to the tabletop I've played.

It's extremely bare bones, but it's got unit veterancy and some other cool features (light army building).

I wish it had more factions to choose from, but in terms of 40k games, if you're in it for the mechanics (lol), it's not a bad way to kill time.

If you're in it for the lore or vibes, this isn't Mechanicus, Rogue Trader, or Space Marine 2.

Syberia Remastered.

The original Syberia is getting Remastered and is planned for a Q4 2025 release for PC, PS5 & Xbox Series.

Gematsu on this - https://www.gematsu.com/2025/05/syberia-remastered-announced-for-ps5-xbox-series-and-pc

Already listed on Steam too:

Just curious, do any of you get an error code in Windows 11 upon shut down almost every time you play using an Xbox controller? (normal Series X S version in my case). I notice it doesn't happen if I don't power it on and play games using the keyboard and mouse, but it happens pretty much every time with the Xbox controller. Seems odd considering it's a Microsoft product.

Epic Game Store Free Weekly games are Deliver At All Costs, Gigapocalypse, and Sifu. Deliver At All Costs I liked the demo enough, so it's nice to see if free so recently after release. Gigapocalypse looks cool and I originally played Sifu through EGS when it was exclusive to it. That's a good one too. Next week has two mystery games.
Yeah, shocked to see Deliver at All Costs for free. It just came out yesterday but I’ll take it!

Not me

BTW, if you already own gladius, this promo package apparently has some free stuff not included in the store package.

The WH40k Relics of War version that is free for this week on Steam is not the standalone game. It's sub/1301221, so add it (on SteamDB or using ASF) even if you have the game. It contains the base game plus three DLCs. One called 'Lord of Skulls', the soundtrack, and wallpapers. So you get three extra things.

Edit: if you can't add the sub from the SteamDB page, go here: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/1301221/
And add it from there.

Alternative way to add via SteamDB
