I wanted to start a thread for Disney + (starts 11/12/19) to see what the best deal is. IMO I think the Disney +/Hulu/Espn+ is for 12.99 a month, any thoughts?

Without the bundle, Disney Plus will be available for $6.99 a month, or $69.99 a year. Hulu (with ads) is currently available for a monthly fee of $5.99, while ESPN Plus costs $4.99.

The bundle is a shot across the bow at Disney’s large (and growing) field of competitors in the streaming space. The standard subscription plan at Netflix, which is required for HD streaming, is currently priced at $12.99 a month. Amazon Video is included in Amazon Prime, which goes for $12.99 a month or $119 a year. Pricing for HBO Max and Apple TV Plus has not yet been announced, although it has been reported that WarnerMedia plans to charge $16-17 a month for HBO Max.

Amazon has half off on the Blu-Ray+Digital of Andy Weir's super-sciencey sci-fi/maybe someday reality novel turned-film currently.

It's even cheaper than the DVD, which is on sale for $13.99.

It's one of the few films I've seen that stayed very true to the source book--although they had to cut out a lot of Watney's MacGyvering; it would have turned into a 4 hour movie the length at which it goes on in the book.

It also has 10 extra minutes incorporated, a few extra scenes on the second disc, four more Ares Mission videos, and hours of making-of with NASA contributions.

Good choice for science buffs or gear heads. Great story too.

I'm posting this a bit late, but Fry's is having a sale on all their Arrow video titles both in store and online until 3/16. For anyone who may not know, Arrow is a British company that specializes in mostly niche, cult, older films. Their releases are very high print transfer quality and at regular prices usually run well over $20 apiece. Some stuff has sold out but there's still some great cult horror, Western, mystery, and drama stuff here.

Not a bad deal I think considering these were both $50 MSRP when they first came out. Every store around me shows the $14 price, but only a few stores actually have them, and the ones that do just have several copies of each, so it might be YMMV. They are older collector's editions so you don't see a ton of them in stores anymore, if at all.

Of the two, the one I recommend most is The Town because it includes an alternate ending version you can't get anywhere else, and I consider it to be far superior to the theatrical cut. To me it's the definitive version of the movie.

You can continue to access your UltraViolet movies and TV shows through the retailer(s) linked to your UltraViolet Library.
You can also continue to purchase new movies and TV shows and redeem digital codes by following the redemption instructions. Depending on the retailer, these new purchases and redemptions may or may not be added to your UltraViolet Library.
Linking your UltraViolet Library to additional retailers can maximize your access to your Library and help avoid potential disruption.

After the shutdown date:

Your UltraViolet Library will automatically close and, in the majority of cases, your movies and TV shows will remain accessible at previously-linked retailers.
You can continue to make online purchases and redeem codes, but these may only be available through that retailer, and will not be added to your UltraViolet Library.

So Fry's clearanced out a good portion of their blu-ray stock for $1 a pop. I got about 90 different titles from the Fry's in Fishers, Indiana.

They will ring up half off but wont take the additional 1.24 off each movie until they total the order.

Many different titles to choose from old and new. Look for their double sided bluray cardboard display.

Not sure if this is only select Family Videos, but its going on at every MI location I stopped at over the past few weeks. Sorry for not posting about this earlier, but theres still 2 and a half weeks left and the locations seem to add more titles each week and update prices on other titles. The odd thing with this sale is I've noticed not every location prices their movies the same price. For example I saw The Last Jedi for $5.99 at one location and a few days later at another location it was $9.99. There may be a few other titles that are priced differently at certain locations, but doesnt hurt to check. Family Video is running a month long sale on used dvds, used blurays, used 3d blurays, and used digital copies. Price ranges are as follows:

$1.99 titles are 5 for $5

$2.99 titles are 3 for $6

$4.99 titles are 2 for $7

$5.99 titles are 2 for $9

$9.99 titles are 2 for $17

There may be another price range I'm forgetting.
