I've added a few games to my cart to see if they qualify.  Some did, some didn't.  You'll have a message under the game about the $25 gift card if it is eligible.  Might be able to argue with CS since it says "all games".

weird.  I didn't think anyone else had this issue.  I placed 2 orders on the same day and both shipped from KC on the 19th.  I received one of them in 2 days.  After a week of waiting on the other, I emailed them and they gave me a refund.  I'm now doubting that they actually ever shipped after...

Interesting... I've been making Paypal purchases with a linked bank account all throughout the Summer sale, but today it was refused and Paypal said that Valve required a credit card to be linked to the account for purchases instead.  I wonder what that was all about?

In for a $50.  May have a friend order another $20 for my daughter.  I had to buy $50 worth of points straight out the other day when the MS Spring sale hit XBLA, so I wish this had happened a bit sooner.  Oh well, I'll spend them.

Unfortunately, I got them to acknowledge there was an issue with it not taking $50 off the guitar that is on sale, but no help getting it ordered and they claimed the $80 included the sale price of Rocksmith. Since i'm a newbie and may find I 'm not suited to guitar at all, I'm not sure I want...

The only super deal I ever got on points was the MS Store fiasco.  I usually paid $12-$15 for 1600pts, so the $10 deal is definitely not as good for me.

new MS deals aren't quite as sweet.  I just noticed that they're giving a $10 gift card instead of 1600ms pts ($20 value) on several games.  I guess it's better than preordering without a deal, but definitely not as good as it was.

I was planning on the PS4, but there's a good chance that I'll get the Xbox first now. I'll still get both, but have to space out those purchases over time.

yeah, the university system I work for uses "cloud" services. I think you can guess where most of our outages occur. Yup, in "the cloud".

overall, I'm glad that Microsoft changed their tune and I may keep my preorder now. I would have liked a lot more information on the Friends thing before it got canned though. I'm just throwing it out there, but do you think that their sudden announcement of the Friends thing was damage...

The problem really resides with the publishers and their investors. It isn't about making good games anymore. It's all about making blockbusters that make people rich or getting a game out the door to meet a movie deadline and cash in on the tie-in. This is also why we're seeing an uprising...

Their "EULAs" and licenses mean nothing when the government has already ruled that it is perfectly legal to sell your used games/music/movies/etc. They can make the licenses sound as scary as they want, but the law says otherwise...
