Yeah I don't hate the pro controller, it's a great controller and has amazing battery life, but it does have a few key issues that make that price hard to justify. Plus nintendo is too easy to make jokes about lol.

Check your local gamestops today if you're looking for a switch. Some got restocked yesterday and even more got restocked today (all gray). Could be even more stores getting stock leading up to splatoon.

From what I've seen, the d-pad issue is less of a defect and more of an actual design oversight/issue which is pretty prevalent (hard to tell exactly how prevalent). Even Nintendo has contradicted themselves, as people have sent in controllers with the issue and got back new or "repaired" ones...

Yeah this is a common issue, and there are some relatively simple fixes for it online, if you don't mind opening up your controller.

Anyone asking about stock in their areas, use istocknow.com. It's not always accurate, but you can get an idea of what stores (if any) in your area have them available.

The way this headset works is that it attaches to both the phone and the console to output both types of audio to the headset. The phone outputs voice chat, while the console outputs game audio. This is annoying, but works in handheld mode. But if your console is docked, you need to be close...

Love the headset's design, hate the impracticality Nintendo is forcing. And on top of that it can't even be used in docked mode.

Yeah istocknow also says that there's not a single gamestop in the US with a switch. Not sure how accurate they are...

Oh really? The ones in my area have been selling the system by itself when they get shipments, but regardless, more stock = less bundles eventually.

I agree. Especially since these bundles ship on July 21st (same day as Splatoon 2), Nintendo is probably pushing to get stock into stores in time for release. So if you don't want to buy a bundle, check gamestop stores in the coming weeks.

Yeah I've heard them say that before, but I know they get some in store every once in a while, so I'd rather hold out for that than get a bundle with things I don't want.

It says on the website that parts of a bundle can't be returned, so unless you get an employee that really doesn't care, you'll probably be stuck with everything.

Usually means that the store had stock which ran out recently. As far as holds go, I don't think any stores are doing them, at least not in my area.

This is exactly how I feel about the sale. And that yakuza price is half of the lowest price we've gotten since launch :cry: . It's fine though, I would rather have a physical of Yakuza anyway.

I've still yet to see a switch in real life, as far as I'm concerned they don't exist  :cry:
